This is an invitation to the “Youth Development Training” that Big Buddy is hosting, as part of the MLK Holiday Festival, sponsored by the Mayor. The training will be led by a master facilitator of youth and life work practice, Thandor Miller, out of the Washington DC area. There will be 2 sessions participants can choose to attend: on Friday, February 18, 2022, at 10am – 12noon or 1:00pm – 3:00pm. Lunch will be reserved (12noon – 1:00pm) for those organizations or agencies that pre-register, NLT Thursday, February 17th, at 3:00pm. We are also seeking partners to table at the event to recruit the trained volunteers once they have completed the workshop. The idea is that participants will attend the workshop and be fired up about getting involved. Agencies and organizations accepting the invitation to table can have firsthand engagement with these “trained and ready to go” volunteers
