Members Call for Event Participation

UPDATE: EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED AS OF MARCH 18

ReCAST partners Tonja Myles of Free Indeed and Nicole Scott of The BRidge Agency are requesting your participation in an Easter event referred to as the Baton Rouge Bunny Bash!

These two agencies will be working with many organizations and partners such as BRPD, East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s office, The Baton Rouge Food Bank, and others.  The event will take place at Memorial Stadium (front parking area) on Sunday, March 28 from 1 pm – 3 pm but organizations are required to set up at 9am

This event will be COVID friendly and will consist of drive-through giveaways from organizations and food boxes donated by the Baton Rouge Food Bank.  This email serves to secure registrations from interested ReCAST Coalition members that are interested in participating in this event by handing out informational brochures on agency resources and services along with any giveaways you may deem appropriate.  Tents, chairs and tables are welcomed to include in your station set up as community members will drive-by and food will be handed to vehicle participants as they drive through. Music will be on-site.

Free Indeed and The BRidge Agency recognize that community members are having challenges with food, water and other important items. And, Easter candy for the kids would be encouraged as give-a-ways as well. Again the event will be conducted from 11am-1pm on Sunday, March 28 at the Memorial Stadium parking lot.

If your agency is interested in participating in the Baton Rouge Bunny Bash, please use the Google link to register, no later than Friday, March 12.  Here is the link: Baton Rouge Bunny Bash!
