About this event, held Saturday, May 22, 2021: The Office of the Mayor-President partnered with several businesses, community and faith-based partners to host a citywide event in observance of May as Mental Health Awareness Month and to also provide an atmosphere of relaxation and self-care amid events that have resulted in communal trauma, e.g. suicides, drownings, the Secor fishing boat capsizing, restorative justice issues and other local, regional and national scenarios impacting our general wellbeing.
